About Grab a brush, Colour a life
‘Grab a brush, Colour a life’ involves beautifying a poorly kept school (especially public schools) within any local community. The maiden project took place on October 1st, 2016 at Araromi Primary School, 50/52, Araromi Street, Mushin, Lagos. What led to this initiative is the desire to touch lives positively using my painting.
The next ‘Grab a brush, Colour a life’ will be at Central School 1 & 2 Nkwerre LGA. The Lady Painter in partnership with Luchrinottz Nigeria Limited will be face-lifting a public school in one of our rural villages.
Besides renovating and painting the school, we would be providing information to the teachers and students on: Fundamentals of fire/fire fighting, Emergency response/possible duties during emergency such as fire or security, Basic health safety and environmental tutorials, Climate change, renewable energy and how it affects the environment, Personal hygiene and also donate fire fighting equipment to the school and the community.

2,000,000 million naira (US$6,000) goal is our target for this campaign, however, we are aiming to raise 4,000,000 million naira (US$12,000) to complete the entire project. Any donations received beyond our initial target will go towards fulfilling our complete project.
